Today is my friend Carrie's birthday. I phoned her this morning to tell her happy birthday and during our conversation, she told me how beautiful the sunrise was this morning. We both agreed that September's morning skies are the best in show. That's all, really, just a nice way to start out - with a picture-perfect dawn, and saying "Happy Birthday" on the first phone call of the day.
