When I was in Louisiana, I had the opportunity to visit with a dear person in my life, the one and only Velvet Sacks. And with that, I had the opportunity to meet the new dog in her life, the resident destroyer of dog beds and couch cushions, Levi. Levi is a Goldendoodle, a soft and enthusiastic mountain of blond and red wavy hair. When I drove up Velvet's driveway, Levi was at the fence in full-on body wag of excitement that someone was pulling up his driveway. VISITOR! HUMAN! FOR ME!!! My heart grew two sizes instantly. Getting out of the car, I reached for my camera as Levi eagerly jumped up on the fence to greet me. This photo is of that moment. Just look at that face! Your heart is melting, isn't it? Yeah, I thought so.

Oh... I would love to meet that face... and Butch too! That picture of Butch as a puppy where his hind leg looks edible and his face is so... Oh... won me over big time! Velvet is a wonderful dog mom and I adore reading about her pups!!
LOL, that's my big baby, all right! Great picture, Alison, and you described him perfectly: "...a soft and enthusiastic mountain..."
