Saw the Paula Dean book. I was hooked the first time I saw her on tv. Now it seems that she is Paula Dean, playing the role of "Paula Dean, Southern cook, Yawll." Makes me sad that we are now seeing the character rather than the person. She has spunk and real Southern charm...why did the Food Network have to screw that up?
Adam, Because occasionally, the big brains at the Scripp network realize that when they do allow a "personality" to come through, unlike all the other vanilla hosts they have, the shows are a huge success.

Great post Allison.
And what wonderful ones to have! Your bedside looks like a nice, relaxing, comforting place to be - (and nice to see you are so neat!) :-)
