Let me be clear. Not for the comments, but for the emails and phone calls.
The post was not about my sister. It wasn't about my sister-in-law. It wasn't about my friend in Vermont. And it wasn't about my friend in New Jersey.
It was about my friend right around the corner.
We worked hard for it. I felt it, and I felt like celebrating it.
That is all.

Well, whoever it was you were talking about, it was a beautiful sentiment and that friend should feel very honored. I don't know many people willing to put in that kind of work. On the friendship, that is, though the wonderful writing is no doubt work, too.
