Oh Lord my load is heavy

Keys
Cell phone
Wallet full of change and one photo of my niece, two of my nephew, two of my youngest Godchild, one of my friend, one of my father. And six of my dog.
A packet of gum (Polar Ice)
Comb
Small bottle Advil
So Magic! perfume
Small bottle ginger and lemon hand lotion
Small bottle of lotion from Chicago hotel two weeks ago
Weekly Planner
Two tampons
Glasses Case
Small notebook
Lip gloss
Lipstick
Two Chapsticks
Blush brush
Visine
Face powder
Blush
A crumpled piece of paper with last week’s grocery list
One, two, oh wait, yes, three lighters. Only one is mine so that means I have once (twice) again taken someone’s lighter without realizing.
Six pens (Six!!)
One pencil

What is it about a day that I think I cannot get through without these essential items? Bugger.

What, no Swiss Army knife?
See, this is the advantage you gals have over us. That handy carrying pouch you call a purse that everyone expects you to haul around with them.

Still, I do manage to have a Leatherman Micra, a stick of Carmex, a loop-back tester and a cross-over adapater in my pocket, in addition to my usual vast array of keys for Lord knows what. Oh, and a comb in my hip pocket with my wallet. Just in case. Nothing compared to you, of course. Say, a helpful tip for you: Tampons are perfect for plugging bullet holes. (Don't ask.)

I am right there with you on the chapstick, lip gloss, visine, notebooks, and all the girly stuff. I've turned the car around once or twice b/c i forgot the visine.

Just looked in my own bag, I have to add the 6 of the vitamins i should have taken last week.

It's funny, but I forgot that I'm also carrying a mess of my most current business card and a set of prayer beads. (They're Buddhist, but I say other prayers with them.) I wonder what it says about me that those are the two things I forgot. Odd.
